As a symbolism contemporary figurative painter, my paintings are largely figurative coded with deeper meaning through the use of emotional expressions. I draw inspiration from life experiences, my environment, and African history to create works that address societal challenges. My art explores themes of self-development, cultural identity, and humanism, aiming to educate, communicate, and inspire meaningful conversations through emotionally expressive paintings. I strive to spark self-reflection and contribute to a more just and equitable society, while remaining diligent and purposeful in my creative practice. I explore the symbolism of feathers and their connection to freedom, purity, innocence, and peace. I use expressive brush strokes to capture the emotional significance of feathers and the feelings they evoke. I believe that my work is constantly evolving, and I am always learning and growing as an artist. I welcome my viewer to join me on this journey of discovery and self-expression.
