Terna Jogo is a photographer and artist whose work explores culture, memory, and identity in her ongoing series Life in Stills, where she captures the rich textures and colours of West African—specifically Igbo and Tiv—cuisine, honouring both everyday and celebratory rituals. With a background in fashion and portrait photography, this series became a way for her to stay connected to her heritage. 

She uses food as a medium to preserve stories and spark dialogue, creating thoughtful compositions captured during dusk. Her images invite viewers to learn something new through the familiarity of ingredients used across cultures.
