I was meditating on the events that led to the fall of man the conversation between the woman and the Serpent and how easy it is to spiral into destruction.
The fall of Humanity is like to the Battle of Troy, the best way to bring down an enemy is to become a friend...a Trojan Horse... Appeal to the senses and desires, captivate the minds of the opponent and make them captives. With a Whisper...we fell.
So this painting is a retelling, a resurfacing of our Fall. Our own desires betray us and ensnare us to
humiliation. A kiss of shame, a venom of destruction and death that treacherously
course through our veins. Where does our
Antidote lie? That is the question
