In time, she is in the garden of Eden, she eats the same fruit. She is in Egypt; her majesty, a pharaoh queen. She’s in west Africa; she’s been sold to slavery, never to see her parents again, beaten and rapped in a tobacco plantation. She’s an activist; she lost her sisters in the fight for black liberation. She’s on the seat of power, sitting next to the black president of the world power. She’s in the future, she sees the needs, aspirations and uplifting of her people. She’s back in time, still on the same spot.
