Razaq Olanrewaju Folami is a talented and multi-faceted artist with a diverse educational background. He began his artistic journey at Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, Nigeria, where he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Painting in 2001. Razaq further advanced his studies by obtaining a bachelor's degree in visual arts from the University of Lagos in 2006 and a master's degree in art history from the same institution in 2011. Throughout his career, Razaq has actively participated in numerous exhibitions and workshops, including the International Culture Teachers' Summer Workshop organized by Ohio State University and the National Gallery of Arts in Nigeria. He has also served as a curator in the Exhibition and Museum Division of the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC), a federal establishment under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation in Nigeria. A multi-talented artist, Razaq loves to explore diverse materials in his artistic creations, enriching his work with unique textures and perspectives. His artistic contributions extend internationally, as he has showcased his artwork in prominent exhibitions, such as the Pan African Festival of Arts and Culture (PANAF) in Algiers, Algeria, the FIFA World Cup Exhibition in Johannesburg, South Africa, the African Rock Arts Exhibition in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Synergy Through Art in Los Angeles, California, USA, and most recently, with the Anderson Arts Center in South Carolina, USA. Razaq's excellence in his field has been recognized with five prestigious awards. Currently residing in Pennsylvania, USA, he continues to apply his artistic talents while working as a resident counselor at an educational institution. Additionally, Razaq has completed programs at Harvard Business School, further enhancing his diverse background and expertise.
