Gloria Eberechukwu Mmaduako, born in October 1994, is a dedicated full-time studio artist based in Abuja, Nigeria. With a strong foundation in oil, acrylic paint, and charcoal, Gloria's artistic journey began with a National Diploma (ND) in general arts from the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu (IMT) in 2015. She continued her academic pursuit by obtaining a B.A. degree in Fine and Applied Arts from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in 2019, graduating with first class honors. Throughout her career, Gloria has actively participated in numerous art group exhibitions and Professional Artist Conferences, establishing herself within the art community. Notable mentions include the +234 Art Fair curated by Soto Art Gallery in collaboration with Eco Bank in 2024, as well as a duo exhibition in Abuja titled "Unveiled Journeys," curated by Sarah in the same year. Gloria's first solo exhibition, "Femme Naturelle: A Celebration of Women and Nature," took place at Ogrikan Gallery in 2023. She has been involved in prestigious events such as the "Master Class: Made in Nigeria 2.0" organized by the Nigerian-German for Jobs, Migration, and Reintegration, and the Nike Art Gallery in both 2022 and 2023. Gloria's artworks have been featured in exhibitions like the "Abuja Openhouse Exhibition" in 2022, the "Affordable Art Exhibition of Paintings" in 2021, and the virtual group art exhibition "We Believe You Art Exhibition" in 2020. Gloria's artistic talent has garnered recognition through various accolades, including winning the first position in the visual art category at the 5th Biennial National Conference of Music and Performing Arts in 2019. She was also named one of the top 25 artists in a visual art competition hosted by the Embassy of Spain in the same year. Additionally, Gloria has consistently been included in the top 100 artists at the Life in my City Art Festival in 2019, 2017, and 2015, showcasing her unwavering dedication to her Art.
