Aina Felix, born in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, pursued his education in painting and general art at the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi. There, he earned both his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in painting, graduating with distinction in 2005. An expressionistic artist, Felix works with acrylic, watercolor, oil paint, and mixed media to explore metaphors drawn from everyday experiences, both in social and personal contexts. Over the years, his artistic style has evolved from impressionism to one that is heavily inspired by the surrealist art movement. His vibrant use of color and expressive techniques have set him apart, carving a distinct niche for his work. Felix’s art is deeply influenced by his culture and environment. He is a member of the Society of Nigerian Artists and has showcased his work in various group exhibitions both within Nigeria and internationally. His art can be found in major galleries and private collections across Nigeria.
