Born in 74 in Africa to Nigerien-French-Lebanese parents, I live in France. From a very young age, I had an instinct for painting and drawing. Encouraged by my parents, I attended various workshops. I was always my art teachers' favorite. I love art in all its forms, music, painting, drawing on fabric, comics, world art, dance...the list is very long. Having visited a lot of museums at a young age because my father was a teacher, I began to have a great attraction to 17th century art, classical painting. I took several courses with different teachers, very good teachers who told me that I had a certain talent and, above all, great speed. Several years passed before I really decided to get involved with the 18th century oil painting of the Flemish masters. Having an Arab-African heritage obviously but portraits can only be of African women. I wanted to see what the effect would be of sublimating African women in classic portraits.
