Gbenga Adeku is a Nigerian PET plastic upcycle artist. An alumnus of prestigious art institutions such as Obafemi Awolowo University Fine & Applied Art School & Bruce Onobrakpeya Foundation. He founded Xtetixupcycle, an art studio fostering creativity and environmental awareness. Empowering young artists through in-house upcycling trainings. He is the covener of Orilafinju the most viral and attended upcycle art exhibition in Nigeria, 2022. He co-founded layerx the creator of "Ant Force 1" hand painted Nike Customs for Climate Ed. at Nike Flagship stores Nigeria. Exhibited at Ocean of Influences by the First Presbyterian Gallery, Fort Wayne, IN, USA. His art recently featured at the Scrap Art Museum, for National Art in Health Week, 2024. From community TEDx talks to international exhibitions, Gbenga's art deepen environmental love and consciousness, encouraging innovation and communal effort as the most powerful funnel for positive global change.
