About the Artwork
Do Hard Things is a personal philosophy that defines my journey. It embodies the belief that true growth, success, and mastery come from embracing challenges rather than avoiding them. Returning to Nigeria and diving into software engineering reinforced my realization that what many of us need here is the courage to take on difficult tasks first—this is the key to growth in all aspects of life.
In my artwork, I use discarded fabrics to shape the African map, symbolizing resilience and resourcefulness, with gold acrylic surrounding it to reflect the immense wealth of our continent. A used CD is incorporated to highlight the significance of technology with music, with its profound role in my life. Choosing the hard path today paves the way for an easier and more rewarding future, whether in art, technology, or life itself.
